More than 40 artists and 16,0000 concertgoers descended on Bethel Wood for Mountain Jam this past weekend. (Pictured) Sixteen year old Sam Sloane performed alongside fellow students between the ages of 8-18 from the Rock Academy performance based music school located in Woodstock, NY.
Music lovers flocked to Bethel Woods this weekend for the Mountain Jam festival. Held from Thursday until Sunday the event featured three stages, 40-plus artists, yoga, vendor village, craft beer tap house and more.
The headliners included Willie Nelson, Phil Lesh & Friends, Gov't Mule, The Avett Brothers, The Revivalists, Joe Russo's Almost Dead, Dispatch and Alison Krauss. It also featured smaller artists that are big on the festival circuit.
This is the 15th year Mountain Jam was held, but the first time at Bethel Woods. The spirit of the original site of Woodstock was felt by all.
