Woodstock 'returns'

Incredible colors and unique tie-dye-patterned tapestries were hanging from tents throughout the camping area.
BETHEL — “Notwithstanding their personality, their dress and their ideas, they were and they are the most courteous, considerate and well-behaved group of kids I have ever been in contact with in my 24 years of police work,” said Lou Yank, the head of the Monticello Police Department in 1969 of the Woodstock Festival attendants.
Many of those same people came back to Sullivan County this weekend arriving at the Max Yasgur Farm owned by Jeryl Abramson. They came from far and wide for the “Yasgur Road Reunion” to enjoy three days of camping, the feeling of family, love and community among people that have been getting together for two decades.
Lastly they came to enjoy peace among nature and the trees, and of course, the music.
