The Desrochers family shows off their Art Walk Passports at the Liberty Fitness Center, just one of the exhibit sites. From the left are Gabriel (6th grade), Seth (10th grade), John, Jen, Nathan (4th grade) and Eli (2nd grade). Down front is Cindy Fracasse, of the Liberty Fitness Center. The passports, when properly filled out by all the participating businesses, became raffle entry forms.
LIBERTY — The three schools comprising the Liberty Central School District joined forces for their first-ever “Taking Art to the Streets" event Friday.
Students from the National Art Society escorted groups on an Art Walk along Main Street where the exhibits of photographs, paintings, sculptures and more were on display at various locations and businesses.
Banners created by the High School art students through a grant from Sullivan Renaissance were unveiled, decorating both sides of Main Street.
