WOODBOURNE — The Fallsburg Town Board recently met at the Woodbourne Firehouse in order to hold public hearings on upcoming resolutions. A joint hearing was held for Fallsburg Consolidated Water and Sewer Districts to extend service to the Berman Subdivision, which was approved by the town planning board over the summer. The five-acre subdivision is located on Lovers Lane and will be split into three parcels with two additional family homes.

Furthermore, a public hearing for the preliminary budget and water, sewer refuse was held. Town Supervisor Steven Vegliante said the budget should pass under the the tax cap. A motion was then passed to make tentative budget the 2018 preliminary budget.

Additionally, a public hearing was also held on the proposed amendments to the zoning map that was discussed at the previous joint meeting with the town and planning board. Public comment will be accepted until the next public hearing, which is scheduled for this Monday, November 20 at the Woodbourne Firehouse at 5:50 p.m.
