An unusual sight greeted Jeffersonville residents and passers-by on Thursday morning. High in the sky was a colorful hot air balloon drifting along in the breeze. Whether this was a practice run for the first-ever Jeffersonville Festival of Balloons scheduled for October 1 and 2, or just a leisurely ride on a beautiful summer morning, we may never know.
