Sullivan County Sheriff Mike Schiff and local businessman and community activist Rob Doherty were among the first time hero head shavers at the St. Baldrick's Day in Eldred. "I am here at St. Baldrick's today because I have lost my mother, my little sister and one of my deputies Deb Hall to cancer,” Schiff said. “My Lieutenant Paul Pratti recently has completed successful treatment and now Rob is in treatment. Honestly, I'm not so sure I could be as brave and tough as they are. I know that events like St. Baldrick's Day are important to make all the new successful medical outcomes possible and more available to everyone."
