Tri-Valley senior Adam Furman won the 1000 and the 1600. He recently shattered a school record in the 1000 and qualified for nationals for that event but does not plan to run it there. He aspires to win the 3200 at Sectionals, the state qualifier and head to states. There he hopes to qualify for nationals in that event. At West Point, which he will be attending upon graduation, he will be running 5000-meter races.
