30 years of Rutledge Repairs

Posted

HONESDALE — Rutledge Repair was established in 1993 by Ronnie Rutledge. For the last 30 years they have been supporting farmers in Pennsylvania, New York, New Jersey, and Connecticut. They sell and service machinery, equipment, and many other agricultural products for all farm types. Located at 674 Callicoon Rd. in Damascus they’re uniquely located to service farmers in the greater region.

When the area was heavily populated with dairy farms the team at Rutledge Repair spent a great deal of time installing and repairing Patz barn cleaners and silo unloaders.  As the style of agriculture in the area has evolved the business evolved with it.  Today they still sell and service Patz barn cleaners and silo unloaders as well as the Claas line of haying equipment, H&S Manufacturing’s full line, equipment implements, and livestock feeders and waterers.

The team also provides tractor and equipment repairs, whether you need a spring service for your tractor or a complete overhaul on your baler the team can get you back up and running.  If you prefer to do the work yourself, they can get you the parts you need quickly.

For those folks looking to maintain land/landscaping, Rutledge Repair carries brush hogs, landscaping rakes, woodchippers, finishing mowers, food plot seeders, rototillers, and snow blowers.

If you’ve ventured into the shop, you know Ronnie always has a story to tell and usually has the antique or odd part you need.  If he doesn’t have it on hand, he can usually get what you need, or he’ll cobble it together to get you by.  Ronnie prides himself on keeping farmers going and will do what he can to keep their downtime to a minimum, even if that means an after-hours trip back to the shop.

Ronnie’s stepson, Jacob Borrelli, has joined him at the shop and you’ll find them discussing the weather with a customer, assembling a piece of haying equipment, repairing a tractor; the latter two often while the grandkids are learning the tricks of the trade.

If you’re in need of new or used equipment, parts, or just driving by, be sure to stop in and say hello!
