4-H Moo Juicers discuss their community events

Posted

CALLICOON – On January 10, the 4-H Moo Juicers held their monthly meeting. During this meeting, we discussed our participation in Wreaths Across America and our continued support.

We also spoke about the upcoming CCE Fair public presentations that have to be done before the Fair. Additionally, we talked about the Hoard’s Dairyman cattle judging contest that is on the horizon.

We considered our 4-H trip options for the spring, which could be either to Calkins Creamery, Creamworks Creamery, or possibly both. Furthermore, we organized a community service project to collect food items for the First Presbyterian Church in Jeffersonville, which supports the local food pantry.

As part of our efforts, we wrapped boxes that will be placed at various locations, such as the pharmacy in Jeffersonville and the Diehl store, to facilitate food donations.

If you are interested in joining 4-H, please contact the Cornell Cooperative Extension of Sullivan County at 845-292-6180.
