LAKE HUNTINGTON - The annual Sullivan West Football Banquet is a ton of work for Gridiron Club Organizer Michelle LeConey and her able assistants, Dawn Hauschild and Rose Joyce-Turner, but it’s greatly appreciated. Other parents did their part too, including the Hanslmaiers and the Campanellis. The latter bought the Division Championship shirts for the entire team.

For the players, coaches and the supportive parents who came out to dine and applaud all of the awards and gifts given to the players and coaches, it was, as always, a joyous and memorable day.

The highlights of the season, including the stats, have all been published here before in the articles on the Coach of the Year (Ron Bauer) and the Players of the Year (Chris Campanelli and Gavin Hauschild).

The gift giving, arranged by Michelle LeConey, was beyond the pale, especially for the seniors Chris Campanelli, Gavin Hauschild, Tarrell Spencer, Justin Grund, Mike Roth and James McElroy. Kudos to the Gridiron Club, the players and the amazing coaching staff of Ron Bauer, Justin Diehl, John Hauschild, Ronj Padu and Shane Cruz.
