The Bethel Local Development Corporation purchased a golf cart for Kauneonga Lake a few years ago to assist people with limited mobility get from parking areas in Bethel to nearby restaurants and other businesses. 

It seats about half a dozen people and was decorated in a Woodstock theme. 

For the past few years, Faith Anne Foster has worked to drive the golf cart. On Wednesday, September 28, the Bethel Town Board presented Faith Anne Foster with a certificate of appreciation. 

“It’s such a [great] addition to the town, but it really didn’t take off until you started doing it on a regular basis,” Bethel Supervisor Dan Sturm told Foster. “We’re very grateful … we wanted to invite you here tonight with your family to thank you for all your hard work over the last couple of years.”
