A wintry wonderland in Roscoe

Saturday’s afternoon snow showers turned Roscoe into a wintry wonderland just in time for the Trout Town’s Annual Ice Festival.

Inside the Community Center, beginning at 10 a.m., visitors stayed warm at the vendor fair, bake sale, and chili cook off while alpaca walks, snowmen, and ice sculptures were taking place outside at Niforatos field.

Bundled in winter hats and gloves, people gathered for the Roscoe-Rockland Fire Department’s Demonstration at 1 p.m. before heading to sidewalk sales and shopping specials downtown or to live music and a bonfire with smores at the Roscoe Beer Co. just down the road.
