With heavy hearts we announce the death of Alvin Schneider of West Palm Beach, FL, born in Monticello, NY, passed away peacefully in his sleep at the age of 81. He was predeceased by his parents Ben and Anne Schneider, his siblings, Michael Schneider and Barbra Marotta.

Alvin is survived by his loving wife, Madelyn Schneider, his children, Jay and Kathy Schneider, Denise and William Kolbert, grandchildren, Jared Schneider and wife Jennifer Schneider, Alison Kolbert, Jacklyn Kolbert and Samantha Kolbert and great-grandchildren Braxton Schneider and Haisley Schneider. 

Alvin and Madelyn would have been married 62 years on June 10, 2023. Alvin truly loved his entire family and had a generous warm heart that extended beyond family. He will always be remembered for his love for animals, all sports, and his life obsession for Poker.

A graveside service was held on Tuesday, March 7, 2023 at Wellwood Cemetery in West Babylon, New York.
