Berthann Apple of Georgetown, Florida passed away on June 27, 2021. She was born in 1945 at Liberty, New York to Jesse Edwards and Bertha Stickle Edwards. She was predeceased by her parents as well as her son John Henry “Buzzy” Akerley and her sisters Loretta Noren, Doris Painter, Sarah Sennett, and brothers Douglas Edwards and Nial Edwards.

Left to cherish her memory are her husband Larry Lee Apple, and daughters Corinna Decker (Harlan), and Laurie Apple, sons Christopher Apple, and Anthony Apple, as well as her brothers Roger Edwards (Nancy), Robert Edwards (Mary Jean), Donald Edwards (Elaine) and sister Sandra Edwards as well as sister-in-law Rita VanAken Edwards, her grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.

Berthann loved playing the guitar, particularly the Do Bro. She enjoyed life and had a kind, generous and compassionate heart. She will be deeply missed by all who knew her, more than any words can express.

A celebration of Berthann’s life will be held Saturday, August 7 at 2:00 PM at the Bay Shore Recreational Center, 6919 26th Street, W. Bradenton, Florida.
