Our condolences extend to the family and friends of Elizabeth Craft and to the Barbuti family. Sadly, we express our sympathy to the friends and family of William J Pammer, Sr.

We hear Adam and Courtney Scott Gold are ‘over the moon' with the birth of their daughter, Milly! Kudos to Zack Malek on becoming a Resident Volunteer Fireman; no easy task! Congratulations to Andrew Stabbert, earning his Bachelor and Integrated Masters of Architectural Engineering-Mechanical Systems Degrees from Buro Happold in NY.

Covid-19: As NYS ‘opens up', be kind, maintain social distancing, don your mask and wash your hands. Many generous folks are busy doing their part and making donations to families and organizations. I want to alert the people who want to donate clothing and household items to be patient and know that now is not the time, unless it goes straight to another household. The organizations are presently concentrated on food insecurity and actually have no storage for other items.

This last application cycle, open June 2-3, can be accessed using nyfa.org. Also, artists who applied for 2018-2020 NYSCA/NYFA Fellowships may apply, using nyfa site, for “Keep NYS Creating Project Grants”. Some area art centers are offering virtual classes and events on-line. Tune into ‘Bethel Lakeside Music'(Fb) musician's posts, local radio and youtube.

Check Bethelwoodscenter.org for virtual events or schedule changes. Not all dates, but it appears that postponements are melting into cancellations. For your information and subject to change: The Kauneonga Lake Farm Market will begin on June 27th, 10-1 p.m. There will be weekly Yoga, but the date and time is TBA. As of this writing there is no word on Bethel Park & Rec's Summer Camp or the Town Park Pool schedule.

The Bethel Lakeside Music start date is moved from Thursday, June 25th to July 16th and may run into September dates. Presently, Independence Day celebrations and fireworks look like a postponement into August.

To Do: Do the 2020 Census! EB Crawford Library (794-4660) has resource info, ‘Things to Do' for all ages and has access to WiFi from their Parking Lot. While in ‘stay at home' mode and lonely you may want to adopt, but if you're unsure of your future schedule, you might opt to ‘foster' a shelter pet. To keep fit, take your the pup to the Dog Park.
