Be a good neighbor: Donate clothing, personal items and food to the MV Methodist Church, Shepherd's Pantry-WL Presbyterian Church or SCFH, the local organizations serving our communities.

The local restaurants want you to know they are open and many offer entertainment, especially on weekends. Call ahead.

Culture: Check schedules for Stray Cat, BCA, CAS, DVAA, NCA, SC Museum, Narrowsburg Union and area art organizations. Purchase the Bethel Woods 2020 Lawn Pass (before the 31st price increase) and order your personal commemorative paver today! If you are interested in sponsoring the ‘2020 Bethel Lakeside Music Series' in Kauneonga Lake Community Park this summer, please call or contact me.

Do the winter version of the local 1969 Woodstock highlights, ‘Bethel Heritage Trail' (www.bethelheritagetrail.org) or drive the SCVA ‘Dove Trail' (sullivancatskills.com) of the 50+ doves.

Callicoon Theater screens “Star Wars The Rise of Skywalker” on the 2-6th and Hurleyville Arts Centre offers the same on the 3-5th. Crawford Library hosts a Saturday Family Movie at 1p.m.

There's a myriad of ways to celebrate on the 31st and bring in the New Year: Reserve for dinner, music and dancing at the Fat Lady Café. Stop by Barrio Kitchen or Local Table & Tap for some cheer. Tavern on Main starts the party at 4pm. Roscoe Beer Co kicks off at 5pm. The Western Supper Club's celebration starts at 6 and Catskill Mountain Resort at 8p.m. Henning's Local offers 5, 7, and 9pm dinner seating. The Eagles's Nest has Cocktails, Dinner and Dancing starting at 7:30 pm. Cabernet Frank's “Electric Magic” kicks in at 8pm. Sullivan Events Center‘s ‘Masquerade Party' begins at 9pm. The Kartrite has ‘round the clock action and a “Splash Party” celebration at 9pm. The Resort World Catskills-Casino offers the ‘Havana Club NYE Party' at 10pm. Dutch's has NYE2020 ‘Live with no Promises' at 9:30pm. Hint: Whatever you do, be safe, arrange for a DD and be rewarded with good times!

Happy New Year! Have some fun at an “Ugly Seater Party” at Hector's Inn at 2p.m. Kwanza concludes on the 1st.
