Our sympathy extends to the friends and families of Hedda Strassner and Jessica Sturm. Jeff Coney passed recently and we express condolences to Jodi and family. Robert ‘Gandalf' Rosengard, former teacher and a ‘community involved, lively personality', died this week from Corona Virus. *An online bereavement support group isi available through ‘Comfort in the Storm” on Thursdays at 6:30-8pm starting April 23rd. Hospice of Orange and Sullivan Co offers telephone counseling by calling 845-561-6111.

COVID-19. We are still in this together and if we keep following advice, maybe we'll have less consequence. Continue to communicate with friends and family and check on your neighbors.

Express and be appreciative to those who sacrifice so much to help to maintain a degree of normalcy, health and sanity. I am in awe of the effort. Also, it's heartwarming to witness the many ways people and organizations show their respect in return.

Earth Day is officially celebrated on Wednesday, April 22. Why not behave as if it's everyday. Ramadan begins Thursday evening, the 23rd, and is celebrated until May 23rd.

The Callicoon Theater and area art centers remain shuttered. Forestburgh Playhouse offers Performing Arts classes on line.
