Maria Frangipane was laid to rest last week. I was sorry to be away and missed paying respects at the services. Years ago, upon moving to the Bethel area, Maria and Al were one of the first couples we met. They introduced us to the community and I was immediately meant to feel at home and ‘put to work' with an organization or two. Maria and I nutured a relationship and we grew to like and understand one another. I think of her as a very devoted wife, mother and grandmother and family first kind of lady, with community coming a close second. She would do anything for others. As her pain got worse the last few years and her condition deteriorated, she'd still show up! I give her so much credit for making Bethel a better place, for standing behind and beside everything Al did (and got credit for) and respect her for the woman she was and the part she played in our town. Our love, support and sympathy is extended to the family. We mourn the loss now, yet we will miss her presence greatly as time moves on. Love you, Maria. RIP.

Suz Sez, “Always make the most of your time”.
