Kudos to Susan and Tim Dollard and grandson, Andrew, for their volunteer work creating ‘Vera's Story Garden' at the EBCP Library. It doesn't go unnoticed that Bethel's Road Crew and volunteers did some sprucing up around town. Thanks! Jonathan C Fox became ‘one in a million' last week when Rotary International bestowed the Paul Harris Fellow Recognition award on him, putting him in the same circle as Jimmy Carter, James Lovell, Pearl Bailey and Jonas Salk, among others! Monticello's SCFH Pantry needs volunteers on the 14th and 16th for unloading and food distribution events (794-2604). The Bethel Business Association is distributing the BBA 2020 Bethel Guide to our supportive members, local businesses and the outlying areas. Future drops will take place at Lakeside Music (16th), the Farmers Market or call me to arrange pick up. SCDramatic Workshop offers the play presentation of “Locked Away” via Facebook Live on the 17th and 18th at 8pm and on the 19th at 2pm. Donations benefit SCDW and RISE. Slam Allen appears at Forestburgh Playhouse in their Catskills Summer Series ‘Under the Stars' on the 17th and Kyle Taylor Parker performs on the 18th at 7:30pm. A Saturday Yoga class is held at the KL Community Gazebo Park at 9am. The weekly Kauneonga Lake Farmers Market at Town Square follows from 10-1pm. Vendors or volunteers should call BLDC for info. Where's Bethel Council of the Arts? “Support Local 845”: Visit reopening businesses. Most restaurants are open, maintaining ‘Pre-order, Pick Up or Delivery' or a limited Inside or On-deck seating.
