Resident youth are offered ski discounts at Villa Roma on Sundays from 10-6pm or at Big Bear on the 29th from 4-9pm. CEAP and the ‘Save a Life' smoke and CO2 detector application programs are still available for town residents.

Register for ‘Nana's House' free trips for children. Register for the March 8th ‘Celebrate Life Half Marathon' and for the May 12th ‘Allyson Whitney Foundation 5K' that takes place in Kauneonga Lake. Apply for a Renaissance grant (sullivanrenaissance.org) to beautify your town, business or property.

Culture: Visit Stray Cat Gallery and local artists or schedule a Cobalt Studio program. CAS, Laundry King, DVAA and Narrowsburg Union have exhibits through the winter that are worth seeing. DVAA's 2021 Artist Exhibition submission deadline is February 15th. FMI: 252-7576.

Callicoon Theater screens “JoJo Rabbit” on the 13th and “Knives Out” on the 14 through the 17th.

Friday is Valentine's Day! Parents, take advantage of ‘night care' on the evening of the 14th while Valley Daycare (250-4110) offers their services. Love is in the air at a few area restaurants. Make a reservation for BHR's special menu from 4-9pm, Eagle's Nest from 5:30-9:30pm, or at the Villa Roma Clubhouse from 6-8:30pm. Slam Allen performs and adds to dinner at Callicoon's Western Supper Club from 7-10pm. Hector's Inn offers a ‘Spread the Love' event on the 14th from 7:30-10pm.

The Bethel Wood's Volunteer Open House is scheduled for the 15th from 9-12noon. A ‘Teddy Bear Tea Party' for Bethel Youth, grades K-3, is scheduled for the 15th at Duggan Community Center at 11:30am. RSVP at 583-5360. The Dancing Cat Saloon serves up an “Iced Tea Event” on Saturday from 3-6pm.

The SC Conservation Club ‘King of the Ice' Fishing Contest is scheduled for Sunday, the 16th. Registration at White Lake Firehouse and contest runs from 6am to 3pm. Pre-register by using sullivancountyconservationclub.org before the 14th. SUNY Sullivan offers a Winter Baseball Clinic for 7-12yo on the 16th from 9-12noon.

Monday, the 17th, is President's Day and Town of Bethel, state and federal offices will be closed.
