Our sympathy extends to the family and friends of William ‘Billy’ Steinberg, Forestburgh Assistant Fire Chief. He passed in the line of duty, collapsing from a heart attack at the scene of a fire on the 15th. The Firematic services funeral, with planning as big as his love of life and firefighting, took place on the 22nd. Respectfully, a multitude of firefighters and Company Stations descended into Sullivan County to show their support and to declare, “We’ll take it from here...”
