Our sympathy extends to the family and friends of Lance Tursi who passed at the end of March. Condolences to the family of John Kelly and to the family and friends of James Bates.

It struck me when I heard of Madeleine Albright’s passing, especially during the month dedicated to Women’s History. What an accomplished woman!

Presumably by the 4th, we will know if the senate confirmed Judge Ketanji Brown Jackson to the SCOTUS.

This could prove interesting: Join Sullivan Renaissance and O&W Rail Trail Alliance on the 7th for a conference-program at the Hurleyville Richie Big Barn at 5:30-8pm. The Monticello HS Performing Arts Department will be performing ’Little Women’ in the Arnold Hugh auditorium on April 8 and 9 at 7:30pm ($7A, 5S). ‘FAR’ appears at Cabernet Franks on Friday evening and ‘Nevada, Nevada-Coventry Carols’ entertain on the 9th.

The Annual Youth Egg Hunt will be held on the 9th, for 1-10yo Bethel children at the Duggan Community Center at 2pm. Bring your own baskets, make crafts, enjoy a Bunny Photo-Op and expect prizes! Hector’s Inn hosts ‘Evolver’ on Saturday, the 9th at 6pm.
