Good wishes to Eileen Morey. Bobby Donofrio has improved and moved to Helen Hayes rehabilitation center. Good news.

Celebrate national Pride Month and start with reading up on the 1969 Stonewall Uprising for more understanding. Summer officially begins Saturday, the 20th. Register, donate and participate anywhere with the virtual June 20th R4 5K Run/ Walk at www.rockhillrun.com. Why not video your walk on Saturday at the Forest Reserve AT Smallwood and post it on the R4 fb page! Everyone's invited to the SUNY Sullivan 56th Commencement-Graduation. This year the virtual event steps off on Saturday (Sunysulllivan.edu) at 1pm. It's a great weekend when it ends with Father's day. We celebrate all the great Dads out there! To Do: 2020Census.gov! You can now shop www.in2retro vintage and antiques on line (fb / Instagram) and receive a 20% discount through July 6th! EBCrawford Library offers on-line resources and is slowly re-opening in stages. Kartrite Water Park has posted a mid-July re-opening.

Covid-19: As NYS ‘opens up', be kind and remain vigilant. Social distance, wear your mask and wash your hands. Keep it up! Organizations are still accepting food and pantry donations, but most are not taking clothing or household items. Call ahead while they are concentrated on food insecurity and don't have storage space.

Culture: Finally, the announcement was made last week to cancel the 2020 Bethel Woods Pavilion season. However, the powers-that-be are planning the Museum opening (shopbethelwoods.com for on-line shoping) while other low-key summer events will be announced. See Bethelwoodscenter.org for further information. Area art centers are creatively offering activities, exhibits, events and classes on Facebook pages and on-line. Seek out DVAA - Delaware Valley Arts Alliance, Catskill Art Society, Forestburgh Playhouse, Shadowland Stages. We're waiting to hear what Bethel Council of the Arts and the Stray Cat Gallery have to offer.

FYI and subject to change: NYS announced that summer day camps could open for the season. See Rita's Bethel newsletter for real time local Park & Rec info. The Kauneonga Lake Farm Market is slated for June 27th. Yoga class is to start the same day. Town postponed Bethel Lakeside Music to start July 16th. Local July 4th celebrations and fireworks are rescheduled to August. Many summer activities are still listed as ‘TBA'.
