The Bethel Town offices will close early on the 24th and reopen on the 26th. If you're looking to feel better, look into Body Mind & Spirit Wellness (583-6151) in Mongaup Valley or to River Family Wellness (887-9004) in Callicoon. Register for the January 8th Sullivan Renaissance 2020 Winter Symposium. Get your Bethel Lions' Lottery Tree tickets from a member or at Fox's.

The local restaurants want you to know they are open. However, Big Kev's and Benji & Jakes are closed ‘til spring. Most have hours surrounding or on weekends and many have entertainment. You might want to call ahead.

Be a good neighbor: Donate clothing, personal items and food to local organizations serving our communities. Donations can be dropped at SCFH, the MV Methodist Church or WL Presbyterian Church-Shepherd's Pantry.

Culture: It's the last hurrah for Bethel Woods and the Museum. Check ahead for Stray Cat, BCA, CAS, DVAA, NCA, SC Museum, Narrowsburg Union and area art organization's schedules. The NACL Deep Space artist residency application (nacl.org) deadline is the 29th. Purchase the Bethel Woods 2020 Lawn Pass before the 31st price increase. Travel the local 1969 Woodstock highlights, ‘Bethel Heritage Trail' (www.bethelheritagetrail.org) or drive the SCVA ‘Dove Trail' (sullivancatskills.com) of 50 doves in our15 towns.

Callicoon Theater screens “Star Wars The Rise of Skywalker” on the 25-30th and Hurleyville Arts Centre offers the same on the 26-30th. Crawford Library has a Family Movie on Saturdays at 1p.m.

The last night of Wurtsboro Canal Towne's “Dance of the Lights” is the 24th at 7p.m.

Merry Christmas! The Kartrite is offering a Holiday Buffet Dinner on the 25th from 1-8pm (845-513-8811) and a DJ Holiday Party with music, bouncy house and activities from 6:30-9:30p.m.

Kwanza is celebrated from the 26th through the 1st of January. Chanukah continues until nightfall on the 30th.

The Bethel Parks & Rec ‘On Your Own' Bus Trip sails off to NYC on the morning of the 27th (583-5360). The Fat Lady Cafe is hosting a special “All you can Eat Latke Night” on the 27th at 6p.m. $40/Resv (583-7133). Bring a wrapped gift for exchange and bring menorah if you can! Cabernet Frank's has the ‘Dishonest Fiddlers' on the 27th and ‘Gayle Donnelly' on the 28th. BJ and Greg are at the Brew on Saturday night.
