Apparently, Bethel will be a Sullivan Renaissance Municipal Partnership participant this year. The Town will be installing pavers at a Heritage Trail site and hiring two landscape-beautification and caretaker employees with the grant.

Mark your calendar for the start of Bethel Lakeside Music on Thursday, June 24th! Support our Ag community and drop by the farmer's markets that have opened in almost every town. Kauneonga Lake Market will open on June 26th.

Let's get out: The local restaurants and our favorite ice cream spots are open. The Fat Lady Cafe has opened. Friends Bar & Grill joins the list soon. The Eldred Preserve-Bradstan Boutique Hotel and Old Homestead Restaurant is exquisite and taking reservations. We await dates for the Chatwal Lodge at Chapin and Callicoon Hills. The Kartrite, under new management, opens July 1st.

Purchase tickets and attend Bethel Woods “More Than a Meal” with Glenn Heller Jazz/ Food Fusion Dining at the Market Sheds on the 3rd at 5 p.m. (ticketmaster.com). Attend ‘Dance It Off' on Thursdays at Duggan at 5:45 p.m. Bethel Yoga with LeeAnna is held at the Kauneonga Lake Community Park on Saturdays at 10 a.m.

Ora hosts ‘Wagging Tail' Yoga in her Bethel studio on Sunday mornings (Waggingtailyoga.com). Join “Walk Lakeside” on Mondays at Duggan at 4:15 p.m.

As of Memorial Day, six headliners have made the pavilion list and a number of concerts are scheduled for the Events Gallery in the fall. Watch for and stop by local hot spots that will be adding entertainment.
