KAUNEONGA LAKE - On September 9, the Bethel Lions Club conducted their 2021/22 reorganization meeting. The venue was at Sorellas Restaurant in beautiful downtown Kauneonga Lake. Thanks to owner Gerry Sarosy and staff for creating a friendly atmosphere while hosting the event.

Also, many thanks to Lions Larry and Ceil for putting in the time to make all arrangements. Many Lions and family members gathered to enjoy an evening of comradery and excellent food.

On hand also were invited guests; PDG’s Stuart and Ilene Wizwer. They each took part in the swearing in of our Cabinets Members, Board of Directors and drum roll please… Starr Gordon attending the dinner, was sworn in by PDG Ilene Wizwer as Bethel’s newest Lion and was sponsored by none other than her husband Lion Jim Gordon. (guess who’s doing the dishes for the next month.) Welcome aboard Lion Starr. Lion Jim is currently serving as 2nd Vice President of our Bethel Lions. Thanks for everything Jim! Having recently joined the Bethel Club; Lion Marion Steed was sworn in as Secretary.

Lion Lou Moreno once again returns as Treasurer.

During the evening, the following Lions were sworn in as members of the Board of Directors: Lions John Bogaert, Rose Bogaert, Al Frangipane, Ceil Di Domenico, Barbara Putzer, Susan Holmes and Lion Larry Cooper. Not present, Lion Michael Fox, also nominated to serve on Board; to be sworn in on a later date.
