Happy anniversary to Ariel and Danny Catalano. We extend our thanks to our local emergency organizations who have been too busy with life saving situations recently. We appreciate all your efforts in every call you respond to.

Let's get out: The restaurants and ice cream spots are open. The Fat Lady Cafe opens on Thursday, the 27th. Friends Bar & Grill is joining the list soon. The highly anticipated Eldred Preserve-Bradstan Boutique Hotel with Old Homestead Restaurant is taking reservations and they're off to a great start. The ‘must see' property is stunning and should be supported, especially for their generous investment in our area!

The area restaurants are open, along with our favorites, the ice cream stops! We're waiting for dates for the Chatwal Lodge at Chapin and Callicoon Hills. The Kartrite will be opening July 1st under new management. Register for EB Crawford Library's virtual Music program, ‘Pure Local Honey' with Deborah Fisher and Paul Kean sharing their original releases on Thursday, the 27th, at 6pm (www.ebcpl.org). You can attend ‘Dance It Off' on Thursdays at Duggan at 5:45pm.

Stop by or participate by vending at the Woodstock Oasis Yard Sale on 17B in Bethel all weekend, the 29th through the 31st, from 9am to closing, 7pm. FMI: 845-583-5500. Bethel Yoga with LeeAnna returns to the Kauneonga Lake Community Park on Saturdays at 10am.

Memorial Day is celebrated on Monday, the 31st. Town of Bethel Memorial Day Services will be held in Kauneonga Lake at Veteran's Park at 11am. Observe and then join the community at the Senior Center for refreshments. Town offices and many businesses will be closed. Join “Walk Lakeside” on Mondays at Duggan at 4:15pm.

Visit Bethel Woods Museum, take a Virtual or in-person Field Trip, walk the Bindy Bazaar Trail, do a Monument Photo Op or attend a ‘More than a Meal' event.

Keep tabs on the ‘21concert calendar. As of this writing, seven headliners have made the pavilion list. Watch for our local restaurants who are adding entertainment and stop by.
