Congratulations to Lindsay and Justin Gray on their recent wedding and best wishes to the Seeger, Wasserman, and Liff families, especially for Ralph!

Our sympathy is extended to Mary, the family and friends of Wes Walgren. The community will miss him.

Reminder: Daylight Savings Time requires you to turn your clocks back on November 1st at 2am. It is suggested that you check your smoke and Co2 detectors and change batteries, as necessary.

For your sake and to protect others, please follow Covid-19 protocols, wear a mask and get tested. Going forward, you might want to get a flu shot and request one for pneumonia, too.

Contact the Town of Bethel about a heat assistance CEAP application, which is sponsored by local donations. You can make a difference with food donations to local ‘Nourish your Neighbor' bins, directly to the pantry listed or contact me.

To Do: The Absentee/Mail In Ballot deadline is today, the 27th. Early Voting is held through Nov 1st at the SC Government Center (BOE 807-0400 or sullivanny.us). In-person voting at your regular polling place is on Election Day, November 3rd.

Get out and enjoy Autumn by visiting our parks or using the NYS Trailkeeper.org trails. The Past Perfect Bookstore at Duggan is open Tuesday-Thursday (583-7191).

Register for Bethel Woods' ‘Connecting Creatively for Teens'* at the Conservatory on the 27th at 6pm. The Adult Program, ‘Vison Boarding'* is offered at the BW Conservatory on Wednesday, the 28th at 6pm. Bethel Parks & Rec ‘Dance It Off' is ongoing on Thursdays at 6pm at Duggan.

Culture: Catskill Distilling Co has entertainment most every weekend. Visit the Bethel Woods Museum. Latch onto the augmented reality Tour, “Meet Me at Woodstock”. Note that the Museum's 7-day schedule changes to Thur-Sun, 10-5pm, on November 2 until December 23rd.

Support our artists, musicians and the area art centers: CAS, DVAA, HAC, Narrowsburg Union and EBCrawford Library. Order from the Nesin Cultural Arts “Poinsettia and Wreath Fundraiser”. Use 798-9006. Catskill Art Society's “I Voted” button templates are due by the 27th in order to create the actual button (436-4227).

CAS Member Artists in good standing should enter work for the December 12-26 Members Show starting Nov 14-Dec 5. DVAA is calling for submissions for their annual “Art in Sixes” small works exhibit, due in by November 7th. The month long exhibit opens the 21st. Use delawarevalleyartsalliance.org for details.
