Happy anniversary to Janice and Tommy Wasserman, Tanya and Noah Fox, Jay and Rick Woods, and the Zuckerman’s.
A huge light has dimmed with the passing of Mel Gitlin. Our sympathy to Joyce, Marc, Riki, extended family and many friends. Condolences to the family and friends of Sonya ‘Sonny’ Smith, who leaves behind a huge void in Fallsburg’s community spirit. Condolences to the family of Howard Levner.
Personal note II: Last week I mentioned my car accident and expressed appreciation for the response and get well wishes. This week I ask that you forgive my not mentioning Father’s Day, with a reminder to shower all the deserving Dads with love and kindness. And the mention of observing Juneteenth went out of my head completely, too!
Congratulations to Vinny ‘Sticks’ VanLowe, who plays with ‘Jamming with Jerry’, for performing at the Bethel Woods Stage Dinner and openng up for Bruce Hornsby on the 11th. It’s a major ‘fist bump’ for the talented 10 yo!

The first day of summer is celebrated on Tuesday, the 21st.
Mah Jongg class is held at Crawford Library on Thursdays at 10am. The Bethel Lakeside Music Series kicks off on Thursday, the 23rd, at the KL Community Gazebo Park (Rt 55 X Lake Street) at 6:30 p.m. - 8 p.m. Support local musicians, enjoy a lovely evening and win a raffle! Keith Newman and Lynn Reno will perform.
A Bethel Business Association networking ‘Meet & Greet’ is scheduled on Thursday at the rear of the KL Gazebo Park at 6 p.m. Surprises are in store and members are asked to bring their business promo materials and then remain for the music.
The Kauneonga Lake Farmers and Craft Market opens for the season on Mall Road in Kauneonga on Saturday, June 25 from 11 a.m - 2pm. This years’ mix includes produce, meats, dairy, artisans, crafters and live music.
