Buck appointed president of state association

SULLIVAN COUNTY –– Sullivan County Treasurer Nancy Buck has just been appointed President of the NYS County Treasurers and Finance Officers Association (NYSCTFOA), replacing outgoing President and Herkimer County Treasurer Kim Enea.

“I am incredibly honored and privileged to become the next President of this group of Statewide fiscal leaders,” Buck stated. “And I’m excited to bring them to Sullivan County next year for the Association’s Summer Conference, where they’ll get a taste of our legendary hospitality.”

Buck has been a member of the Association for 20 years, attending quarterly conferences, teaching at its annual three-day Finance School (in collaboration with the NYS Association of Counties), and regularly seeking advice through a listserv with her colleagues.

“They have been an unbelievable help to me,” she affirmed. “I am grateful to be of help to them as well!”

Buck will oversee the conferences and the Finance School during her yearlong term as President, and will work closely with the NYS Association of Counties to monitor and lobby for relevant Albany legislation.
