Catskill Brewery celebrates Memorial Day

LIVINGSTON MANOR — In honor of our veterans, Catskill Brewery celebrates Memorial Day with Beer, Bands, and Burgers. We are pleased to present two musical performances this weekend on May 26th and 27th as well as fresh brewed beer styles that have never been released before.

Catskill Brewery, 672 Old Route 17, Livingston Manor, NY 12758.

Our new chef for Catskill Food Truck, Shane Zeman, will be serving up burgers and hot dogs from the grill.

Friday, May 26th we are joined by the Wayward Gypsies, self-described as Texas Americana.

Saturday, May 27th, That 70’s Project, a local classic rock revival band dedicated to Classic Hits from the 70s that are sure to get you dancing!

New Beers on Tap:

• Onteora Mountain, 7.2% ABV is an IPA that pours a pale gold, with significant haze and a thick white head. It has aromas of lime, ripe cantaloupe, and some dank resin. It’s full-bodied with flavors of candied orange peel, melon, and piney resin.

• Rusk Mountain is the next big IPA in our High Peaks Series. This mountain boasts some of NY State’s last first growth Hemlock on its slopes, passed on by the lumber industry because of the inhospitable access. This beer features Azacca hops, an exotic variety that boasts woody flavors combined with soft fruits and citrus. This unique beer is a big hazy IPA with an inviting aroma at 6.8% ABV

• John O’Birds Hefeweizen pours a hazy straw yellow with a medium white head. It has aromas of banana bread, clove, and a hint of freshly ground grain. It’s mid-bodied, with a dry finish and flavors of Clove and vanilla with some banana bread on the tail end. This beer is brewed with all NY wheat - great malt coming from our home state!
