Claire T. Delaney born April 15, 1937 loving devoted wife to William P. Delaney for 64 years, passed away peacefully at home on May 31, 2022. She is the daughter of the late Jacob and Theresa Wagner Mehling.
Claire is adored by her six children and sixteen grandchildren and loving family.
Claire was raised in Woodhaven, Queens, NY and moved to Hicksville, NY in 1962. Claire and Bill moved to Parksville in 1996. Just as she was active at Our Lady of Mercy in Hicksville for many years, she became an active member of St. Peters in Liberty.
She volunteered at Time and Valley Museum in Grahamsville which she thoroughly enjoyed.
We love you and will miss you everyday. We know you are watching over us.
A Memorial Mass will be Thursday, June 23, 2022 at 11 AM in Our Lady of Mercy Church, Hicksville, NY.
