SULLIVAN COUNTY – With winter sports rapidly reaching their conclusion, the Indoor Track State Championships at Ocean Breeze will close out the 2023 winter season tomorrow.

Five athletes from around Sullivan County will represent their schools and Section IX this weekend as they compete for championship glory.

Fallsburg’s Gisella King qualified for the 300m with a personal best time of 42.2.

Adam Furman (Tri-Valley) will be running the 1600 and 3200.

Armaan Butler (Tri-Valley) qualified for the Shot Put.

Gabriela Armonte (Homestead) will be running the 55m.

Last but not least, Monticello’s Taina DeJesus will run the 55 Hurdles tomorrow.
