Treasurer Buck stated that “it was very important for the word to get out that I’m not going to run again because I believe in the electoral system. I believe people should vote for who you want to vote for.”
“I had to decide if I was going to run again or step aside and my husband has been retired for three years and I think it’s time [to pass the torch],” Buck said. “I am here until the end of the year so please if you need something you know how to reach me. I just want everyone to know that this office has been treated as non-political from day one.”
