Despite rain showers, the Delaware Valley Arts Alliance’s back-lot-turned-performance-stage was packed for a recent The Fête Arts production of “Coming Out From The Dark.”

“I am so thrilled to welcome you to our back lot. We are so honored to have the opportunity to collaborate with The Fête,” DVAA Executive Director Ariel Shanberg said.

Shanberg acknowledged that the event was also taking place on Juneteenth, and reminded the audience to continue speaking out. “Please keep your voices loud. Please keep your voices heard,” he said.

The event to commemorate Pride Month delighted audiences with stunning vocals, moving dances, and beautiful music from a variety of professional performers and musicians.

“It was wonderful, and they handled it beautifully considering the weather,” said audience member Ellyanne Hutchinson. “I loved the windows. It was nice seeing the building as part of the set.”

“This was a beautiful performance,” Martin Higgins, co-owner of 2 Queens Coffee, said. “It was amazing to have such high quality Broadway talent in Sullivan County. I got a little choked up.”

Ronnie Todorowski, performer and co-founder of The Fête Arts added, “We were so lucky to have such amazing artists a part of Coming Out From The Dark. Look out for The Fête Arts next production in Sullivan County. We’re just getting started.”
