Dennis Mark Denenberg, beloved husband, father, grandfather, and father-in-law passed away on Thursday, June 16, 2022, after battling a long illness.
Dennis is survived by his loving wife, Michele, and two children, Jamie Ment and Justin Denenberg. He is also survived by his grandchildren Adam and Logan. His grandchildren were the loves of his life and he cherished every moment with them. Dennis is further survived by his daughter-in-law Megan, son-in-law Steven and a grandson-in-law, Liam.
Dennis was born in Brooklyn, NY, but grew up in Woodridge. He was the son of the late Lillian and Murray Denenberg. Throughout most of his life, Dennis was a loyal, important, and well-respected member of the Woodridge Fire Department. The title that meant the most to him was that of Chief Engineer.
He will always be missed and loved, now and forever.
A funeral service took place on Friday, June 17, 2022, at 2:00pm at the Joseph N. Garlick Funeral Home, 388 Broadway, Monticello, NY 12701 with Rabbi Michele Medwin officiating. Firematic services were observed and burial took place at the Temple Sholom Synagogue Cemetery, Southwoods Road, Monticello.
