Is Washington DC using politics or common sense in dealing with the crisis at our southern border?

Well it looks like the State of Texas is taking the issue into its own hands and has marshaled its own resources to protect its citizens.

Texas Governor Greg Abbot apparently does not like the situation and along with the Texas Department of Public Safety Col. Steve McCraw has deployed the National Guard plus DPS officers plus air, ground, marine and tactical border security assets to deny Mexican Cartels and smugglers the ability to move drugs and people into Texas.

The governor said that Texas supports “legal immigration but will not be an accomplice to the open border politics that cause, rather than prevent, a humanitarian crisis in our state and endanger the lives of Texans.”

The crisis at the southern border continues to escalate because of the Washington, DC administration's policies that refuse to secure the border and invite illegal immigration.

What is the true thinking here of Washington politicians who seemingly just do not care what happens…and yes does our government support the illegal immigrants that bring the coronavirus with them?

Let's wake up folks, there is trouble brewing for everyone on our southern borders.
