ATERES  — The Village of Ateres – Sullivan County’s newest village located near Kiamesha Lake – will hold a public hearing on the Village’s 2025-2026 tentative budget this Sunday, which includes compensation of $0.00 for Mayor and $0.00 for Village Trustee.

This public hearing is scheduled to take place at 3:30 p.m. at the Village Hall at 4656 Route 42 in Kiamesha Lake.

The Ateres’ legal notice states that the proposed compensation for the tentative budget is $0.00 for Mayor and a shared $0.00 for Village Trustees. The tentative budget is also available for review at the Village Clerk’s office.
