Early voting starts Saturday in Republican primary

SULLIVAN COUNTY –  Registered Republicans will start going to the polls this Saturday, June 15 to select a candidate for the Assembly seat, 100th District.

Camille O’Brien is running against Louis J. Ingrassia Jr. on the Republican ticket to see who will face candidate Paula Kay, the Democratic challenger.

The Republican and Democratic candidates will face each other in the General Election on November 5 to see who will replace incumbent Aileen Gunther, who has represented the district since 2003.

Early voting locations are: 

• Sullivan County Board of Elections, ground floor, 100 North St., Monticello and 

• Sullivan County Public Health, 50 Community Lane, Liberty.

Early voting  hours are:

Saturday, June 15, 9am-5pm Sunday, June 16, 9 a.m.-5pm  Monday, June 17, 9am-5pm Tuesday, June 18, noon-8pm  Wed., June 19, 9am-5pm    Thurs., June 20, noon-8pm   Friday, June 21, 9am-5 pm Saturday, June 22, 9am-5 pm Sunday, June 23,  9 am- 5  pm    

For those wishing to go to the polls, Primary Election will be held for registered Republicans on Tuesday, June 25 from 6 a.m. until 9 p.m. at all polling location across the county except in the towns of  Fremont, Neversink and Rockland, which are not in the 100th Assembly District.
