ELDRED ––  Now that the Eldred boys basketball team has been crowned Section IX Class D Champs they now start to make their way through Regionals play. After defeating Greenburgh- North Castle on Monday night they look to their next opponent, 20-1 Long Island team, Bridgehampton. It will be a tough matchup for the Sullivan County team but heading in on a 9 game win streak adds fuel to the tank. The Yellowjackets have all-around player, Trai Kaufmann, Class C and D player of the year, big man James Deyermond and Koen McGill, and guard Eli Gonzalez looking to drive their team into the Championship game. The Yellowjackets play this Saturday in game 9 of regionals at 4:30 pm at Center Moriches High School.
