Eloise J. McLean of Liberty, NY, a homemaker and longtime area resident, died Thursday, August 15, 2024 at her home surrounded by her loving and devoted family.  She was 100.

The daughter of the late Frank and Frances Bailey Hunsinger, she was born November 11, 1923 in Binghamton, NY.

Eloise enjoyed spending time with her family, sewing, quilting, crocheting, puzzling and reading.

Survivors include her daughter, Donna Miller of Grahamsville, NY; her son, James McLean and his wife Karen of Tarpon Springs, FL; three  grandchildren, Dale Miller and his wife Brenda of Cookville, TN, Kristie Miller of Grahamsville, NY and Robert Miller of Grahamsville, NY; three great-grandchildren, Kacie, Michael and Alex and three great- great-grandchildren.  She was predeceased by her husband, Gorton McLean in 1991 and by her son-in-law Gary Miller.

Funeral services will be Wednesday, August 21, 2024 at 10 AM in the Harris Funeral Home, West Street at Buckley, Liberty, NY.  Pastor Ginny Bossley will officiate.

Burial will be private in Vestal Hills Memorial Park, Vestal, NY.

Memorial contributions in Eloise’s name may be made to the American Cancer Society.
