FALLSBURG - Superintendent Ivan Katz announced today that the Fallsburg Central School District will be holding an employment fair on August 11. This fair will take place in the Cafeteria at the Junior Senior High School from 9:00 am to 11:00 am that day. 

The district currently has over twenty vacant positions across all departments. Included in these open positions are substitute teachers and teacher aides, which do not require specific certifications. There are also various teaching positions and administrative positions as well. 

Building and district administrators will be on site to talk to interested candidates about the various roles, any certifications required, and overall job duties. 

The decision to hold this event was based on a desire to work with the community to further the mission of the school district. Given the number of talented individuals in the Fallsburg Community, it is critical that the district look to leverage our local strengths.

Working in public education is a rewarding and fun experience. This job fair will provide an opportunity for all community members to learn about the exciting employment opportunities Fallsburg has to offer.
