DAMASCUS, PA - Farm Arts Collective, an ensemble of performers and farmers based in Damascus, PA will launch the summer tour of DREAM ON THE FARM, a climate change-themed performance project. The performance entitled The Scientists is an original musical play intended for audiences of all ages. It will be presented at the Seminary Hill Cidery on Thursday, July 7 at 6:00 pm. Tickets can be purchased online at www.FarmArtsCollective.org

DREAM ON THE FARM is a 10-year cycle of new plays that the collective of performers, farmers, scientists, musicians, and stilt walkers are making about climate change. They are making one new play each year from 2020-2030.

Under the direction of farmer and artistic director Tannis Kowalchuk, the company is touring “The Scientists” (the group’s 2021 production) while developing a new show set to premiere at their farm theatre this August. This summer’s tour of “The Scientists” will bring Farm Arts Collective to the Cidery next week, to ArtPark in Lewiston, on the Canadian border, and to Unison Arts in New Paltz.
