CALLICOON - Farm Arts Collective presents a Farm Days workshop with animal farmer Mark Keoppen at his farm, Toad Hollow Farm in Callicoon on Saturday, September 11 from 11:00 a.m. - 1:00 p.m.

Mark is raising pigs, chickens and lamb organically in a small but diversified space of field and forest. He will take participants on a tour of his operations, visit the animals, and learn best practices for the health and welfare of many of the animals that we eat. Topics will include food, required shelters and space, land use, processing and details to help interested individuals get started raising animals in a humane manner.

Workshop is $20. Tickets can be purchased at www.farmartscollective.org. The farm is located at 77 Toad Road in Callicoon.
