Frank A. Burbank was born December 27, 1942 in Derry, NH to Frank A. Burbank Jr. and Ruth Burbank. He passed away on October 16, at his home in Livingston Manor with his wife and cat Boots.
Frank grew up in New Hampshire graduating from Alvirne High School in Hudson, NH. He then attended Keene State College where he met his future wife. The US Navy was his home from 1962-1966 as a journalist.
After the Navy he married Susan Colby. He then went to work for newspapers in Haverhill, MA, Manchester, CT, and Middletown, NY. While working for the Times Herald Record, he was involved in the THR Charity Fund, Monticello Action Committee, Monticello Kiwanis, United Way, and the People for People Fund.
Frank was predeceased by his parents and sister Joyce. Surviving are his wife Susan, daughter Jennifer Atreidis and her spouse Vernon of Florida; son Kris Burbank and Emily McClendon of Alabama; and three grandchildren Fox Dawson, Haven Sioux, and Seneca Quinn; his sister Caryl Lajoie and her husband Leo in New Hampshire; and several nephews and nieces.
A memorial service will be held in the spring of 2022 with full military honors.
