Free “Holiday Cheer” Concert will stream Dec. 11

MILFORD, PA - The genre-defying Take3 piano trio will perform an online Holiday Cheer concert on Saturday, December 11, at 5:30 p.m. This event, presented by Kindred Spirits Arts Programs, will be streamed at no charge on Facebook and Youtube. Moreover, residents of the tri-state Pennsylvania, New York, and New Jersey region can enjoy prime seating: the living room couch.
Rock-Star Charisma
Take3 is a trio of young musicians who, as soloists, have performed internationally and with orchestras throughout the United States. As a trio, they blend their classical backgrounds with pop, jazz, Americana, and, for this concert, music for the holidays. No artificial boundaries for this group.
On stage (yes, that includes this virtual stage) the members of Take3 are dynamic entertainers; the always-in-motion violinist Lindsey Deutsch, in particular, has rock-star charisma. As the orchestra conductor Jung-Ho Pak has said, “When every concert has to be unforgettable and a game changer, Lindsay can make that happen every time.”
Pianist Jason Stoller is a Julliard graduate who has performed at the top-drawer Aspen Festival and has been a finalist in the American Paderewski Piano Competition. Cellist Mikala Schmitz has played with jazz groups as well as classical ensembles, toured Europe with The Last Shadow Puppets rock group, and performs with Tim Robbins “The Actors Gang,” on Netflix’s “Chef’s Table,” and on HBO’s “The Brink.” That’s versatility. Says KSAP Artistic Director Yos Feigelson, “Be ready for the wild and unexpected from this genre-defying threesome who are in love with music making.”
How to Stream This Event
The concert will be featured on Kindred Spirits Arts Program’s Facebook page - www.facebook.com/kindredspir ) - and on its Youtube channel: www.youtube.com /user/ksprograms1. “We encourage people to subscribe to our youtube channel,” says Feigelson. “In addition to a featured live stream they can get a taste of the great variety of our shows over the last 20 years.”
“More suggestions about streaming this performance: Instead of a computer or a smart phone, one could use a smart or Roku TV (great with a quality sound system!) to access our aforementioned Youtube Channel,” says Feigelson. Meanwhile, here’s a hint of what’s in store: https://youtu.be/uIdP24fu2UM.
