Grace Florence Robinson of Monticello, a retired office manager for Dr. Longo and Dr. Chung Dental Office in Rock Hill, passed away on Tuesday, April 27, 2021 in Liberty. She was 77.

The daughter of the late Alfred Heins and Florence Schock Heins, she was born July 28, 1943 in Monticello.

Grace graduated from Monticello High School and went on to work at Hamilton Avenue Hospital. Later in life she attended OCCC where she earned her degree and became a registered nurse. She continued to work at Hamilton Avenue Hospital until it closed and then finished her career at the Dr. Longo and Dr. Chung Dental Office in Rock Hill. While not working, she loved reading, gardening and cruising with her friends and family. She also looked forward to going to a very special place every year which she went to since she was a child - Branford, Connecticut - where she spent time on the beach with family and friends and did a lot of fishing. Her favorite was probably blackfishing in the fall. Grace was also a member of Shady Brook Hunting Camp in Monticello.

She is survived by her husband of 60 years: Frederick G. Robinson; a daughter: Deborah (John) Saunderson; three grandchildren: Dylan, Brooke and Taylor; a brother: Alfred Heins (JoAnn); two sisters: Nancy (William) Baxter and Doris (Jack) Rogers; a daughter-in-law: Julita; and several nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by a son, Frederick K. Robinson.

Interment of her ashes were held privately at the Rock Ridge Cemetery in Monticello.

Arrangements are under the direction of the VanInwegen-Kenny, Inc. Funeral Home of Monticello, NY; for additional information or to send an online condolence, please visit www.kennyfuneralhome.com.
