Guided Fall Hike to Witch’s Rock

LIBERTY — Sunday, October 30 at 4pm, the public is invited to join a Guided Fall Hike to Witch’s Rock at Walnut Mountain Park in Liberty. This will be a 60-minute (approx. 1 mile) round-trip walk along wide, gently uphill carriage roads. The trip leaders are Lisa Lyons of Morgan Outdoors and James Guara of Liberty Parks & Recreation. 

It’s a great opportunity to enjoy the fall foliage and beautiful views at the overlook. Meet at the baseball field parking area, Walnut Mountain Rd (off Rt 55), Liberty. The hike starts promptly at 4pm.  Wear sturdy shoes or boots and warm layers. Sponsored by Liberty Parks & Recreation and Morgan Outdoors.

Walnut Mountain is a 265-acre Town Park - with historic carriage roads and recently constructed mountain bike trails adding to Liberty Parks & Recreation's trail network.
