HUNTER – Tri-Valley’s Austin Hartman added more hardware to his collection after winning the 8-Man football championship in the fall. Hartman was the top skier in Section IX. His second slolam time of 36.34 was the best time of the day. He and Monticello’s Sam Rein will be representing Sullivan County and Section IX in the NYSPHSAA Championships on February 27 and 28 at Bristol.
Alexis Heins, from the Monticello girls team, finished atop the Section IX leaderboard. Her slolam time of 36.48 was the best time of the day.
The three skiers are all headed to Bristol for the State Championship runs.
