Jail Tales returns to the Old Stone Jail

HONESDALE, PA - The Greater Honesdale Partnership brings you a creepy season-appropriate tour of the Old Stone Jail. On Friday, October 1 and Saturday, October 2, 5:30 p.m. – 9:00 p.m., long-forgotten inhabitants of the dungeon-like stone jail will boast of their thievery, planned escapes, and murder.

We know they only come out this time of year to amuse themselves and torture the innocent.

But don’t fear; the brave individuals that captured and held these assorted rogues will be there to protect you. Meet local Sheriff, jailer’s wife, and hangman as they tell stories from the right side of the law. Will you stand your ground or flee from these dark, dreary quarters?

The Old Stone Jail is located at 10th and Court Streets, behind the Wayne County Court House in Honesdale, PA.

Tickets for “Jail Tales” can be purchased online at www.VisitHonesdalePA.com. Tours are 30 minutes - 10 in a group. $18 Adults & $13 Kids. Parental guidance is suggested.

This event is rain or shine! Additional information is available by emailing GHP@VisitHonesdalePA.com or check out www.VisitHonesdalePA.com events calendar.
